GNFC President Phil Illman (L) and former Gisborne Captain/Coach Brad Fox address the half-time luncheon of Gisborne members and Golden Square guests.

Fox coached the Dogs for 3 years (1994-1996) while Gisborne was in the RDFL. He spoke about the club's commitment to develop players from within the local area rather than importing players, believing this approach created a sense of inclusiveness within the player group which lead to better teamsmenship.

Mission Statement: The Gisborne Football Netball Club seeks to develop and promote the sports of Netball and Australian Rules football within Gisborne and the wider community, as well as, provide a pathway for junior players to achieve their sporting potential. The Gisborne Football Netball Club aims to provide a safe and socially inclusive environment that recognises and supports good sportsmanship amongst players and their families, officials, spectators and supporters.
